Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office reports multiple arrests, incidents over two weeks

DOVER — From March 3 to March 16, the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office logged a series of arrests and incidents ranging from drug possession to motor vehicle accidents with injuries.

Arrests included Logan Bui, 36, of Guilford, charged twice with possession of a schedule W drug, and Zhu Jing, 30, of New York, facing charges for marijuana cultivation and unlawful trafficking in a scheduled drug.

Other individuals arrested for various charges included Billy Bezio, 53, from Dexter; George Dyke, 29, from Abbot; Zachary Thompson, 36, from Milo; Peter Grzesik, 34, from Sebec; and Lawrence Davis, 65, from Blanchard Twp.

Bui was arrested again later in the period for violating conditions of release.

Traffic infractions led to five citations being issued.

The Sheriff’s Office also responded to multiple property damage vehicle accidents, harassment complaints, and calls for assistance from other law enforcement agencies.

In one instance, a family fight in Parkman escalated, while elsewhere, loud noise complaints were registered in Parkman and Brownville.

Juvenile issues, including a runaway and other problems, were attended to in Parkman, Orneville, and Guilford.

Welfare checks were a consistent part of the Sheriff’s Office’s duties, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents across the county.

In addition, officers handled several E911 hang-up calls, which can often indicate emergency situations.
