Huntington man charged with DUI after two-vehicle crash

HUNTINGTON — A two-vehicle collision on Main Road by Van Dine Drive led to a DUI arrest for a North Ferrisburgh man on March 24.

Vermont State Police responded to the scene around 4:17 p.m. where they encountered Nicolas Sardet, 44.

During the investigation, troopers suspected impairment after speaking with Sardet, who had attempted to pass another vehicle when the crash occurred.

After a roadside investigation, Sardet was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence.

He was processed at the Williston Barracks and subsequently released with a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court at a future date to address the DUI charge.
