Adams resident faces drug charges after traffic stop

ADAMS — A routine motor vehicle stop on Old Columbia Street led to the arrest of an individual for crack cocaine possession on March 25.

Adams Police Department officers conducted the stop at approximately 1:30 p.m.

During the encounter, officers discovered crack cocaine on one of the vehicle’s occupants.

The individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, was charged under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 94c Section 34, which pertains to possession of a Class B substance, identified as crack cocaine, with this incident being a subsequent offense.

Further details about the arrest, including the suspect’s name and any additional charges, have not been released.
