Two injured, one critically, in hit-and-run crash in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — A major car accident involving three vehicles occurred at the intersection of Chapel Street and Orchard Street on March 23, with one vehicle fleeing the scene, according to the New Haven Police Department.

Police reported that the crash happened at 1:30 p.m. and resulted in two individuals being injured, one of whom sustained life-threatening injuries.

The condition of the second patient has not been disclosed.
