Officer rescues woman in rollover crash in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — A rollover accident on the intersection of Columbus and South Church Street led to a dramatic rescue by a New Haven police officer on March 21.

The crash was reported at 4:42 p.m., causing significant traffic disruptions as emergency services rushed to the scene.

A female driver, trapped in the overturned vehicle, was successfully extricated by the first responding officer.
