Revere man faces drug trafficking charges after joint police operation

REVERE — Authorities arrested 27-year-old Franklin Argueta of Revere yesterday on an outstanding warrant, with additional charges including trafficking cocaine and possession with intent to distribute various drugs, following a joint operation by the Revere Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department.

According to officials, Argueta was charged with Trafficking in Class B Cocaine, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Fentanyl, Class B Methamphetamine, and Class E Xanax.

He is also facing charges for possession of Class D Marijuana.

During the arrest, detectives seized $7,825 in cash and twenty counterfeit $100 bills.

Argueta was arraigned in Chelsea District Court earlier today.
