Peterborough police seek help in theft of recreation department fencing

PETERBOROUGH — The Peterborough Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a 50-foot roll of black fencing stolen from the local Recreation Department.

Authorities were alerted to the theft on March 20, when they discovered the fencing, used for sports and other recreational activities, was missing.

Master Patrolman Sweeney is leading the investigation into the incident, reference number 24-42-OF.

The department urges anyone with information about the theft to come forward and contact Sweeney at 603-924-8050.
