Two-car collision at US Route 7 intersection in Ferrisburgh

FERRISBURGH — A two-vehicle accident occurred on US Route 7 at the intersection with VT Route 22A this morning at 7:29 a.m., according to Vermont State Police.

Brian Larrow, 36, of Ferrisburgh, was driving a 2005 Kia Sedona northbound when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with the rear end of a 2006 Saturn Vue, operated by Joshua Laraway, 48, of Shelburne.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

The Kia sustained front-end damage, while the Saturn suffered damage to its trailer hitch.

Despite the collision, no injuries were reported at the scene.

Laraway was taken to UVM Medical Center for evaluation as a precaution.

The roadway was dry and weather conditions were cloudy at the time of the crash.

State Police are investigating the cause of the accident and have asked witnesses to come forward with any information by contacting the New Haven Barracks or submitting an anonymous tip online.
