Waterford police seek help identifying hit-and-run driver

WATERFORD — Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the driver of a 1990s light-colored Honda Accord involved in a hit-and-run accident this morning that injured a young cyclist.

The incident occurred at 7:23 a.m. in front of Sam’s Mart, located at the corner of Boston Post Road and Clark Lane.

According to the Waterford Police Department, the vehicle struck a youth on a bicycle and then fled the scene.

Officer Winters is leading the investigation and is urging witnesses or anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle to come forward.
