Enosburg man charged with retail theft, violating release conditions

ENOSBURG — A 19-year-old Enosburg man was charged Monday with retail theft and violating the conditions of his release following incidents at two separate locations, including a Dollar General store.

State Police in Saint Albans received a report at approximately 7:35 p.m. on March 18 about Adam Bellevue’s threatening behavior, which was in violation of his court-ordered conditions of release.

The investigation quickly led officers to determine that Bellevue had also committed retail theft at the Dollar General on Main St in Enosburg.

Bellevue was cited for both the violation of his conditions of release and retail theft.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court on April 22 at 8:30 a.m.
