Colchester police arrest three in assault case at Fort Ethan Allen

COLCHESTER — Colchester Police Department officers responded to a reported assault at an apartment complex on Ethan Allen Avenue in Fort Ethan Allen on Sunday.

The incident involved two victims who sustained multiple visible injuries and required evaluation by Saint Michael’s Rescue.

The police investigation quickly led to the identification and arrest of three suspects allegedly connected to the assault.

Allahjuan Calhoun, 33, from White Plains, NY, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and first-degree unlawful restraint.

Rasheed Nathan, 26, of Yonkers, NY, and Raymond Fields, 25, from Fort Lauderdale, FL, both face charges of aggravated assault and first-degree unlawful restraint.

Following their arrest, a judge set bail for each suspect at $10,000.

They are currently held in jail pending their court arraignment scheduled for March 18.
