DUXBURY — A routine traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Mashpee man on multiple drug charges on March 14.

Officers Sheehan and Josephine, who were on the evening shift, noticed the grey Mitsubishi Mirage on Tremont Street.

After stopping the vehicle, the driver, identified as Brandon Sullivan, was found to have a suspended license in both Massachusetts and Florida.

The two passengers with him were also unlicensed.

Upon taking Sullivan into custody for operating a motor vehicle while suspended, the officers conducted an inventory of the car before it was towed.

They discovered a bottle of alcohol, bags of Psilocybin, and cannabis packaged for distribution, alongside burner phones and a significant amount of cash, suggesting an intent to distribute the drugs.

Sullivan now faces charges including operating a motor vehicle while suspended, lacking an inspection sticker, possession of alcohol under 21, and possession with intent to distribute class D and class C substances.
