Everett police arrest man for drug, firearm violations in undercover operation

EVERETT — An undercover operation conducted by the Everett Police Department’s Special Criminal Investigations Unit last night led to the arrest of a male suspect on drug and firearms charges.

The man, whose identity has not been released pending formal charges, was caught allegedly selling what is believed to be crack cocaine to an undercover officer.

Following the drug transaction, he was also charged with multiple firearms violations, including possession of a large capacity firearm while in commission of a felony and possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification (FID) card.

The Everett PD has not disclosed further details about the operation or the suspect’s arrest as the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is currently being held pending arraignment, and more information is expected to be released following judicial proceedings.
