NORWOOD — A Boston man was arrested Thursday on charges of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine after Norwood Police detectives observed a drug transaction.
Samuel Lachapell Lorenzo, 30, of 76 Walnut Park, Boston, was taken into custody near Route One following a surveillance operation by officers.
During the stop of Lorenzo’s vehicle, detectives discovered fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine, in addition to seizing over $2,400 in cash.
Lorenzo is facing charges of trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
He was also charged with being an unlicensed operator.
According to authorities, Lorenzo has ongoing drug dealing cases in two other courts.
Following his arrest, Lorenzo was held overnight on bail and is scheduled for arraignment Friday.
