Adams man arrested with $5,000 worth of crack cocaine

ADAMS — Officers of the Adams Police Department arrested a man Friday morning after finding approximately 52 grams of suspected crack cocaine and over $1,000 in cash during a traffic stop for driving with a suspended license.

The motor vehicle stop occurred around 8:51 a.m. on Howland Avenue.

During an inventory search of the vehicle, officers discovered the drugs, which have an estimated street value of more than $5,000.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and has been transported to Northern Berkshire District Court for arraignment.

The Adams Police Department continues to investigate the case.
