SPRINGFIELD — Officer Guzzo and Corporal Perkins of the Springfield Police Department responded to a residence on Seavers Brook Road in an attempt to locate Matthew Cameron, who allegedly had an in-state warrant on Monday.
Dispatch confirmed Cameron’s in-state warrant, and upon arrival at the residence, officers located Cameron.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility.
Cameron was issued a citation for the in-state warrant and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, March 12 at 12:30 p.m.
