Manchester man arrested after crashing SUV into school bus

MANCHESTER — A motor vehicle crash late Monday night resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old Manchester resident, according to local authorities.

The Manchester Police Department reported to the scene at Union St and River Rd around 10:05 p.m. after receiving calls of an accident at the Derryfield School parking lot.

Officers found a white Infiniti SUV that had collided with a parked and unoccupied school bus, causing significant damage.

The driver, identified as Michael Carrow, sustained minor injuries in the crash, and no other individuals were involved.

Carrow was arrested following the incident and faces charges that include Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Conduct.

The Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the factors contributing to the crash.
