Two safe after car plunges into water in Holden

HOLDEN — Holden Police responded to an emergency call just after 2:30 a.m. on March 9, where a vehicle had careened into the water on Reservoir Street.

Upon arrival, officers found that the two occupants had already escaped the submerged vehicle and were on solid ground.

Direnzo Towing & Recovery was called to the scene to retrieve the vehicle from the water.

The Holden Fire Department also provided assistance, helping with the vehicle’s removal.

Both individuals were transported to a local hospital for evaluation following their escape from the vehicle.

The conditions of the occupants have not been released, and the cause of the incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
