Pelham man faces DUI, reckless operation charges after rollover crash

PELHAM — A 22-year-old Pelham man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and reckless operation after a single-vehicle rollover early on March 9.

At about 1:57 a.m., a Pelham police officer on routine patrol discovered an overturned 1997 Toyota Camry on Tallant Road.

The vehicle, found on its roof with significant front-end damage, had been driven by Alexander LaForge.

According to the police investigation, LaForge was heading west on Tallant Road when he failed to make a turn and struck a rock wall, causing his vehicle to flip.

The Pelham Fire Department responded to the scene and transported LaForge to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Officer Boucher, who investigated the crash, determined that LaForge was impaired at the time of the accident.

Following his arrest, LaForge is scheduled to be arraigned at Salem District Court on March 21 at 8 a.m.
