Driver arrested for DUI following single-vehicle crash in Pawlet

PAWLET — Vermont State Police arrested a Castleton woman for driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 30 in Pawlet early Sunday morning, March 10.

At approximately 1:50 a.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to the crash scene.

The driver, identified as Kaitlyn Graham, 32, of Castleton, was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze when the incident occurred.

During the investigation, troopers observed Graham displaying several indicators of impairment.

As a result, she was taken into custody for driving under the influence and transported to the Castleton Police Department for processing.

Graham’s vehicle sustained minor damage in the crash, and she was not injured.

After processing, Graham was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division and released to a sober party.

The Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by the Pawlet Town Constable and the West Pawlet Fire Department.
