Woman arrested in Fair Haven domestic stabbing

FAIR HAVEN — A Fair Haven woman was arrested Thursday following a domestic assault investigation.

Police responded to a reported stabbing on Cedar Street around 12 a.m.

Through investigation, officers learned 53-year-old Theresa Wade Crandall got into a physical altercation resulting in stabbing a family member.

The victim sustained a non-life threatening stab wound to their shoulder.

Crandall was arrested and ordered held without bail at the Marble Valley Correctional Center on a charge of 1st degree aggravated domestic assault.

Sr. Ptl. Craig Watrous Sr. and Castleton Ptl. Justin Szarejko are the investigating officers.
