BOSTON — Leah Daniels, 55, of Roxbury, was arrested following a shooting incident at 12 Marcella Street on Wednesday, March 6 at about 10:29 a.m.
Officers responding to a report of a person shot found an adult male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
They rendered medical aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. Daniels was located inside a second-floor apartment and placed under arrest.
She faces charges including assault to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, assault and battery with a firearm, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.
Daniels is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
