HUDSON — Chief Richard DiPersio announced Saturday that the Hudson Police Department arrested and charged a Stow man with kidnapping following an incident at a local church.

Michael Gadomski, 61, of Stow, faces charges of kidnapping of a child, assault, and disorderly conduct.

The arrest was made after police responded to a call at a church on Marlboro Street around 12:30 p.m. on March 2.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered that Gadomski had followed two juvenile females into the bathroom and prevented them from leaving.

Further investigation revealed that Gadomski had previously engaged in similar unwanted activities involving the same juveniles.

Gadomski was taken into custody without incident.

The juveniles involved in the incident were not physically harmed.

Chief DiPersio commended the victims for their courage in reporting the incident and praised the responding officers for their professional conduct in ensuring community safety.

Gadomski is expected to be arraigned at Marlborough District Court on Monday.
