SUNDERLAND — Vermont State Police arrested a 19-year-old Sunderland man on multiple charges including DUI after responding to a reported crash on Laver Road on March 1 at 6:51 p.m.

Authorities identified the accused as William M. Gordon, who allegedly engaged in a road rage altercation that ended with his vehicle in a ditch.

Witnesses calling to report the incident provided limited information due to arguing heard in the background.

Upon arrival, troopers determined that the confrontation was sparked by claims of reckless driving.
