BERLIN — Vermont State Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were conducting routine traffic patrols on the Berlin/Barre City line when they spotted a blue Dodge truck speeding on VT Rt 62 yesterday.
The vehicle, traveling east, was clocked at 96 mph in a 50 mph zone.
Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop, the driver was identified as 35-year-old Stacie Winauski of Barre, using her Vermont driver’s license.
Winauski was aware of her speed, according to the troopers, and received a citation for the speeding violation.
Additionally, she has been criminally cited to appear in Washington County Superior Court on March 22 at 8:30 a.m., facing charges of Negligent Operation and Excessive Speed.
