Nashua man charged with felony assault after November incident

NASHUA — A 36-year-old Nashua man was arrested on a felony warrant for allegedly strangling a woman during a domestic dispute in November 2022.

Thomas Michael Ambrogio of 5 Mercury Lane, Nashua, was charged with second-degree assault-domestic violence, a Class B felony.

Police received a report from the victim on Dec. 13 and detectives from the Special Investigations Division furthered the investigation, leading to the arrest warrant.

Ambrogio and the victim were known to each other.

He was held on preventative detention and scheduled for arraignment in Nashua District Court on Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.
