PROVIDENCE — A Massachusetts man was arrested on Friday, Feb. 23, on an outstanding warrant related to a drug charge.
Steven Franchitto, 34, of Shrewsbury, was taken into custody at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to Providence Superior Court on a bench warrant for failure to appear for a hearing stemming from a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
The original charge was filed by the Providence Police Department.
