BROOKFIELD — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 left a car totaled but the driver unharmed early this morning.

At 10:07 a.m., Vermont State Police responded to an accident on I-89 northbound near mile marker 38.4.

Aidan Wood, 20, of Webster, NY, lost control of his 2018 Honda Civic after hitting slush on the shoulder of the road.

The car veered off the interstate, rolled over several times, and came to rest upside down in an embankment.

Wood, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, did not sustain any injuries and showed no signs of impairment, according to the police report.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Stockwells Garage.
