Arlington man arrested on domestic assault charge

ARLINGTON — An Arlington man was arrested and charged with first degree aggravated domestic assault following an incident that occurred late last month.

According to the Vermont State Police, the assault took place at a residence on Warm Brook Road on Feb. 19 at 10:30 p.m.

The victim, whose name has not been released, reported the incident three days later at the Shaftsbury Barracks.

Through their investigation, authorities determined that 47-year-old Brad Crosby assaulted a family member.

Crosby was located and arrested on Feb. 23.

Following his arrest, Crosby was processed at the Shaftsbury Barracks and then transported to Marble Valley Correctional Center.

He is being held on $5,000 bail.

Crosby is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Feb. 26 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge.
