Springfield woman arrested on outstanding warrant

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Police arrested a woman on an outstanding in-state warrant following a tip that she was present at the local probation and parole office.

Officers were dispatched to the Springfield Probation and Parole at 100 Mineral Street on Feb. 12 at about 3:50 p.m. after receiving information that Lisa Lafoe, who allegedly had an active arrest warrant, was on the premises.

Lafoe was taken into custody at 3:58 p.m. without incident and was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.

She was given a criminal citation to appear in Windham County Criminal Court on Feb. 13 to respond to the charge of Arrest on an In-State Warrant.

Following her arrest, Lafoe was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of cash or surety bail.

The case was handled by Officers Guzzo, Franchi, and Hauser.
