Medway children removed from home for safety, under DCF custody

MEDWAY — Medway Police Department detectives and officers were called to a residence at 105 Holliston Street today at 9:44 a.m. following reports concerning the welfare of multiple children.

Upon arrival, authorities assessed the situation and contacted the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF).

The DCF intervened and removed the children from the home, transporting them for medical evaluations.

The children are currently in the custody of DCF.

The ongoing investigation is a collaborative effort involving Medway Police Detectives, the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, and the Massachusetts State Police.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed in relation to the incident.

The authorities have stated that additional information will not be released until the conclusion of the investigation.
