Norfolk police seek help identifying suspect in vehicle break-ins, check fraud

NORFOLK — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of breaking into multiple vehicles at the ForeKicks sports complex and attempting to cash a stolen check using a stolen ID in nearby Plainville and Foxboro.

The suspect, captured in surveillance photos, is believed to be connected to a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred at the ForeKicks facility, which hosts a range of sports and family activities.

Following the break-ins, she allegedly tried to use a victim’s stolen identity to cash a check at local banks in both Plainville and Foxboro.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the woman or the incident to contact the Norfolk Police Department.

The department has released images of the suspect in the hopes that members of the public might recognize her and come forward with any relevant information that could assist in the investigation.

The police have not disclosed the exact date of the vehicle break-ins or the attempted fraudulent transactions but stress the importance of community assistance in apprehending the individual responsible for these crimes.
