RUSSELL — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Harold MacDonald, an 87-year-old man last seen around 1 p.m. near his home on Blandford Rd.
MacDonald, who is nonverbal due to dementia, was reported missing after he did not return to his residence.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue spring jacket, a baseball hat, workers gloves, and boots.
Family members have provided details of identifying tattoos that may help in recognizing MacDonald.
He has a tattoo of a panther on his left forearm and biker-related insignia on his right bicep.
Additionally, there is a tattoo of a naked lady on one of his biceps, though the family is unsure of which side.
Officials confirmed that MacDonald had his wallet with identification on him when he left.
The Northampton Control dispatch has urged anyone with information on MacDonald’s whereabouts to contact them at 413-586-1508.
