CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police arrested a 28-year-old Milton man on charges of driving with a criminally suspended license and violating conditions of release after a traffic stop late Saturday night.

Troopers from the Williston barracks pulled over Tanner Villemaire on Route 104 in Cambridge at 11:35 p.m. for a moving violation.

During the stop, they discovered Villemaire’s license was suspended, and he was not complying with terms set for his release from an unspecified previous incident.

Villemaire was taken into custody and processed at the Morristown Police Department.

He was subsequently issued a citation to appear in Lamoille County Criminal Court on March 13 at 12:30 p.m. to face the charges.
