Guilford man faces DUI, drug possession charges after crash

GUILFORD — A single-vehicle crash late Monday night led to the arrest of a Vernon man on charges of driving under the influence and drug possession.

Vermont State Police responded to the incident on Coolidge Memorial Highway around 9:12 p.m. after receiving reports of the accident.

Upon arrival, troopers encountered 24-year-old Zebulen C.

Lesure, who was identified as the driver of the crashed vehicle.

Following an investigation, Lesure was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of a regulated substance.

Lesure was taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

He was subsequently released with a criminal citation.

He is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on March 12 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charges filed against him.
