Boston police seek public help to identify suspect in Roxbury assault

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault incident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.

The assault, which involved the use of pepper spray, took place at approximately 2:21 a.m. on Feb. 13 in the area of 94 Shirley Street in Roxbury.

The individual sought by the police is described as a Spanish-speaking male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build.

Authorities believe he may work as a food-delivery employee.

The Boston Police Department is conducting a thorough review of the circumstances surrounding the incident.

They are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the District B-2 detectives at (617) 343-4275.
