Colchester woman arrested for curfew violation, resisting arrest

COLCHESTER — On Feb. 18, at approximately 2:17 a.m., Colchester Police Department officers located Samantha Jarvis, 32, of Middlebury, walking along the side of the road near Roosevelt Highway and South Park Drive.

During the encounter, police identified that Jarvis had a court-ordered 24-hour curfew at a Middlebury address due to previous felony eluding charges.

When officers engaged Jarvis, she attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended after a brief pursuit.

Jarvis was charged with Violation of Conditions of Release and Resisting Arrest.

She was subsequently transported to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility, where she was held on $400 bail.
