Boston police seek help identifying attempted armed robbery suspect

BOSTON — Detectives assigned to District D-4 are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an individual involved in an attempted armed robbery that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 30 at 130 Dartmouth Street.

The suspect, who was armed with a firearm, fled the scene down the alley between Brownstone and Clery’s, then continued through the Dartmouth Street garage and onto Columbus Avenue toward Clarendon Street.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident and urges anyone with information to contact District D-4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.

The department emphasizes that it will stringently guard and protect the identities of all individuals who assist in the investigation anonymously.
