Medford police seek suspect in early morning vehicle break-in

MEDFORD — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly broke into an unlocked vehicle on Quincy Street early in the morning on Feb. 10.

At around 5:58 a.m., an unknown male suspect with a ponytail, dressed in a knit winter hat, puffy jacket, and sweatpants, was reported to have entered the parked car and stolen a piece of mail.

The Medford Police Department released a description of the suspect and is calling on anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

Detective Thomas Mattos is leading the investigation.

The police have urged anyone who can identify the suspect or has any relevant information to contact Detective Mattos at 781-391-6767.

The department is keen to apprehend the individual responsible for the theft and prevent further incidents in the community.
