Barnstable police seek public’s help to identify vandalism suspect

BARNSTABLE — The Barnstable Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a vandalism incident that occurred on the night of Feb. 14.

At around 11 p.m., an individual was captured on surveillance video damaging the window of a business located at the intersection of Route 6A and Route 149 in West Barnstable.

The suspect is seen using a hammer to smash the store’s window before fleeing the scene.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or who recognizes the individual in the provided videos and images to come forward.

The Barnstable Police Department appreciates any assistance in their efforts to identify and apprehend the suspect responsible for this act of vandalism.
