Rhode Island State Police arrest 2 in seperate incidents

PROVIDENCE — Troopers at the Lincoln Woods Barracks have made two separate arrests following incidents in Cranston and Providence, involving charges ranging from simple assault to obstructing an officer.

On February 12, at 8:49 a.m., Jonathan Cruz Reyes, 40, of Cranston, was arrested following a disturbance at Harrington Hall.

Reyes was apprehended on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault, issued by the Pawtucket Police Department.

After being processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, he was handed over to the Pawtucket Police.

The following day, at noon, Miguel Sanchez, 32, of Providence, faced multiple charges after a traffic stop on Cranston Street.

Sanchez was charged with Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, Driving without a License (Fourth or Subsequent Offense), Resisting Legal Arrest, and additional charges related to previous incidents, including a 32F Violation for Reckless Driving and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

After processing, Sanchez was transported to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
