Claremont police seek public’s help in hit-and-run case

CLAREMONT — Claremont Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the owner or operator of a Nissan vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident on Broad Street on Feb. 8.

Authorities have been investigating the incident in which the Nissan fled the scene.

The department has released images of the vehicle in hopes that members of the community might recognize it and come forward with information.

Officer Nix is leading the inquiry and has asked anyone with knowledge about the vehicle or the incident to contact him directly at 603-542-9538.

The police have not disclosed any further details regarding the accident or possible suspects at this time.

They urge anyone who might have relevant information, no matter how minor it may seem, to get in touch.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
