Worcester police seize fentanyl, cocaine in King Street raid

WORCESTER — Worcester Police Department officers from the Operations division carried out a search warrant on a King St. apartment at approximately 2:22 p.m. on Feb. 9, leading to the arrest of a 21-year-old man and the seizure of significant quantities of drugs.

The suspect, identified as Kavin Aldino, was detained during the operation, which resulted in the discovery of a substantial amount of substances believed to be fentanyl, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, and various pills.

According to authorities, the narcotics were packaged in a way suggesting they were intended for distribution.

Aldino now faces multiple drug-related charges including Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams, Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in a Class B Substance 36-99 Grams, and Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to Distribute.

The Worcester Police Department continues to investigate the case.
