Armed robbery suspect sought in Boston

BOSTON — Detectives from the Boston Police Department are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying an individual involved in an armed robbery.

The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, in the vicinity of 226 Washington Street.

The suspect has been described as a light-skinned male, wearing a black balaclava mask, a brown hoodie beneath a black jacket, light blue jeans, and brown shoes with white edging on the soles.

Although the suspect claimed to possess a firearm, no weapon was visibly displayed during the robbery.

The Boston Police Department is diligently investigating the facts and circumstances of the incident. They are urging anyone with information to contact the District A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-4240.

To ensure the safety and anonymity of community members, the Boston Police Department is also offering the option to report tips anonymously.
