ST. JOHNSBURY — A single-vehicle accident involving a rollover occurred at the intersection of Lackie Hill Rd and Spaulding Dr on Feb. 8, with no injuries reported.

Jessica Prue, 43, of Sheffield, was driving her 2021 Ford Expedition when she attempted to turn left onto Lackie Hill Rd from Spaulding Dr at around 10:42 a.m.

According to the Vermont State Police, Prue lost control of the vehicle due to the wet road conditions, causing the SUV to rollover and come to rest on its roof in a ditch.

Prue, who was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, managed to escape unharmed.

There were no passengers in the vehicle and no need for hospitalization.

The clear weather conditions did not prevent the incident, highlighting the potential hazards of wet roads.

The Vermont State Police have not reported any pending charges, and the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
