Woman unharmed after striking deer on interstate Westford

WATERFORD — A single-vehicle accident involving a collision with a deer was reported on I-93 North near Clark Rd at 6:31 a.m. on Feb. 8.

Kelsey Robertson, 32, of Manchester, N.H., was traveling northbound on the interstate when her 2023 Nissan Murano struck a deer at mile marker 1.6, close to the Vermont and New Hampshire border.

The vehicle sustained moderate front end damage.

Robertson, who was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, did not sustain any injuries.

No emergency medical services or fire departments were dispatched to the scene.

Vermont State Police have investigated the incident and confirmed the clear weather and dry road conditions at the time of the accident.

Robertson’s vehicle has been cleared from the scene, and traffic flow has returned to normal.
