Hampton police investigate armed robbery at local market

HAMPTON — The Hampton Police Department is actively investigating an armed robbery that took place at Towle Farm Market on the evening of Feb. 6.

Authorities were called to the scene at 18 Towle Farm Road around 8:15 p.m. after a male suspect allegedly brandished a firearm at a store clerk and demanded cash.

The perpetrator reportedly fled on foot with an undisclosed sum of money and additional items.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium build, standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall.

He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, black winter gloves, and blue jeans.

In response to the robbery, the Hampton Police Department alerted nearby businesses as a safety measure.

Currently, no photographic or video evidence has been made available to the public.

The investigation remains ongoing, with the Hampton Police Department working in conjunction with the New Hampshire State Police.
