Chelsea man run over by own truck, charged with DUI

RANDOLPH — A Chelsea man was charged with driving under the influence after being run over by his pickup truck on Chelsea Mountain Road late Tuesday night.

Vermont State Police responded to the scene around 9:15 p.m. where they found Jeremy Beaucage, 45, injured in the roadway.

According to authorities, Beaucage stopped to urinate and failed to secure his vehicle, which then rolled over him.

Beaucage was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.

Upon observation of impairment signs, troopers processed him for DUI.

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 10 at 8:30 a.m.
