WRENTHAM — A goat named Mama is on the loose, and local authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the skittish animal.
Police Chief Bill McGrath reported that Mama went missing from the Indian Head Rd./Hawes St. area.
Given the nature of goats to wander, Mama could be anywhere around the town by now.
Residents who spot Mama are urged not to approach her, as she is very skittish and may run.
Instead, they should contact Animal Control Officer Klenk at 508-384-2121 with any sightings or information that may help in safely retrieving the goat.
