Nashua man arrested on multiple domestic violence charges

NASHUA — A Nashua man is facing multiple charges following a domestic incident that resulted in his arrest for alleged threats and physical assault.

The Nashua Police Department took 43-year-old Paulo Meneses into custody after officers were called to a residence on Feb. 1 for a report of domestic violence.

The victim, who identified herself as Meneses’ intimate partner, claimed he had physically assaulted her and damaged her bedroom door.

During the investigation, detectives discovered that Meneses had also threatened the victim with a knife.

Furthermore, when his adult son tried to intervene during the incident, Meneses assaulted him as well.

Meneses was arrested at the scene and subsequently refused bail.

He was held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester, pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, which took place on Friday.
